January Pre-order Update

We hope everyone is having a great start to 2020. Here are a couple of exciting updates from the team at Bloom.

👍Bloom Beta Update

Our first group of beta users has been testing daily for the past 21 days and providing feedback about their experience. We are using their feedback to make testing with Bloom even better for future users (like you!). Based on their feedback, we've been able to implement improvements that generate more accurate test results and enhance the experience of using the Bloom app.

"Awareness and self-education is key in any lifestyle changes. Testing with Bloom helped provide both."
- Bloom Beta User

💦Introducing New Tests

We are working diligently to add more tests to our test cards to ensure that they have the most comprehensive profile on vitamin and nutrient levels. We will be launching an updated version of the Bloom test card in February which will introduce 10 additional tests. Here are a few of the tests that we are adding and why they are important to wellness:

Potassium helps regulate fluid balance, muscle contractions, and nerve signals. A high-potassium diet may help reduce blood pressure and water retention, protect against stroke, and prevent osteoporosis and kidney stones.

Your body needs calcium to build and fix bones and teeth. Calcium helps nerves work properly, makes muscles squeeze together, helps blood clotting, and improves heart function.

Zinc helps your immune system and metabolism function. It is also important for wound healing as well as your sense of taste and smell.

Creatinine reveals important information about your kidneys. High levels of creatinine in your urine can indicate diabetes, high muscle tone, or kidney problems.

Too much mercury exposure can cause serious health problems and may have toxic effects on the nervous, digestive, and immune systems.

Lead exposure may cause cardiovascular effects like increased blood pressure and incidence of hypertension, decreased kidney function, and reproductive problems in both men and women.

 💪Growing Every Day

To accomplish our mission of putting a health tracker in every home takes a great team. In January we welcomed a few rock star developers, data scientists, and added additional brainpower to our product team. Do you have a passion for helping people live longer, healthier lives? We are hiring and want to hear from you. Click here to learn more about joining the Bloom team.
